Hello, everyone! This is Rachel from the Virtual Doll Convention, and I'm thrilled to update you on our much-anticipated Wilde Fashion Box Subscription! The excitement is palpable, and we want to share some key details with you.
Limited Availability for Launch
Firstly, availability is limited—for now. We're starting with 150 outfits for the initial months. Although it was a substantial investment to produce these, I'm disheartened that we can't accommodate everyone right away. However, we've also prepared 150 BONUS BOXES for September, featuring a variant of the Outfit of the Month.
Monthly Mix and Match Sale
Alongside each Wilde Box Launch, there will be a Mix and Match Sale, open to all our VDC friends. So, when we unveil the monthly Wilde Box Fashion Video, you can also expect an exciting sale in the Ellowyne Boutique. Smaller purchases will arrive in our new, adorable boxes, while larger orders will include reusable garment storage bags—plus, extra surprises inside each delivery!
A Unique Experience
The Wilde Box offers a distinctly different experience compared to our Grace Subscription, by design. Everything from the presentation to the packaging is unique. Watch our reveal video to see for yourself! With the blessing of Robert Tonner, we're thrilled to bring you this curated box that includes an Outfit of the Month, a small accessory, a Wilde Fashion Newsletter, a craft or paper doll, and a themed extra. Stay tuned for future digital subscriptions and pattern downloads! Our wonderful Diana Vining creates our newsletter alongside a new digital creative for our team, Dilhermando Assis. Everything produced for the Subscription is from VDC and our factories. The monthly subscription fee is $50.00, plus a small shipping fee, which is a fabulous deal just for the outfit.
Subscription Timeline and Vintage Inspiration
While our initial vision was a 12-month program, we've decided to begin with a 9-month subscription cycle. Our first season will span from September 2023 to May 2024, after which we'll take a brief "breather" before launching into the next exciting phase.
And here's a tidbit for fashion aficionados: Season One of the Wilde Fashion Box will be a love letter to vintage styles, primarily from the 1930s to the 1960s. Prepare to be transported back in time with meticulously crafted designs that pay homage to these iconic eras.
Compact but Mighty Boxes
Lastly, a quick note on the packaging. The initial boxes may be on the smaller side (my apologies!), but they still pack quite the punch. They “feel” so nice and are printed on the outside and inside. The white block on the outside is for the label. We have 1,200 of them, so we are going with it for a bit, but the next wave of boxes will be larger. These boxes will house the subscription contents but not the additional items from the Mix and Match Sale. For those, expect separate, equally adorable packaging. And yes, we're unveiling a new "vintage" box design by the Holidays!

Mark your calendars, because registration kicks off on Monday, August 28th! You'll receive an email notification to guide you through the process. If you're on our waiting list but miss the first registration wave, don't worry—you'll stay on a special list to reserve your spot for future openings. We're committed to offering as many "bonus boxes" as possible throughout the program's duration.
